Jeffrey M. Chase

As a law student, Jeff began helping immigrants while at the Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic at The Jerome M. Frank Legal Services Organization at Yale Law School. There, Jeff helped immigrants who were illegally targeted by Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) during the 2007 “Fair Haven Raids.” Jeff continued in immigration law by joining the University of Connecticut Asylum and Human Rights Law Clinic, successfully arguing in deportation proceedings for relief under the International Convention Against Torture. He has spent time as a volunteer attorney at Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services in New Haven, Connecticut.

Jeff joined Milagros Immigration Law’s practice in May of 2012. Jeff’s practice focuses on immigration deportation defense, employment immigration, and waivers of inadmissibility. Jeff is also versed in immigration matters relating to other countries, including Canadian waivers and applications for rehabilitation.
