Carolina Guiral

Carolina joined Milagros Immigration Law’s practice in February 2016.

Carolina graduated from the University of Connecticut, School of Law.   Carolina graduated with honors from Fairfield University, where she received her B.A. in Psychology.   In law school, Carolina was Articles Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law.  She was also an advocate at the UConn Law Asylum and Human Rights Clinic., where she obtained asylum for a family from the Newark Asylum Office. Carolina has represented clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court

Her interests in immigration law stem from childhood, when her parents immigrated to the United States from Colombia and were granted political asylum.

She interned with various non-profit organizations committed to advocate for the rights of children and their families in child abuse and neglect, family, and special education cases. Carolina became an advocate for immigrant children who have been victims of abuse and neglect. Carolina enjoys and often travels to Latin America, which has kept her connected to her culture.

Carolina is fluent in Spanish.
